Python Galway presents - Introducing Python for Java Programmers @ DERI (1st floor)

The talk will cover the basics of the Python language by using many real world examples using Jython.
Jython is version of Python running in the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). We will explain the basic syntax of Python for those who are new to the language but have some Java
knowledge. We will also show some advanced uses of Jython to integrate and extend your Java program with Python.
The goal of the talk is for people to come away with ideas on how to start using Python at work or personally without throwing out previous w work but instead by building on it.
